Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25540
'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid eating the meat of the sacrifice after three days?" She said, "No, but sacrifices were few in those days, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded (that it should be distributed quickly) so that those who offered sacrifices could provide meat for those who could not afford to offer them. We have seen the time when we would store away the trotters (feet) of our sacrificed animals, and we would eat them ten days later." I (the narrator) said, "What was the need for you to do so?" She smiled and said, "The family of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never had their fill of bread and meat for three consecutive days until he met Allah."

عابس بن ربیعہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا پوچھا کیا نبی ﷺ نے تین دن کے بعد قربانی کھانا حرام قراد دے دیا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں، البتہ اس زمانے میں قربانی بہت کم کی جاتی تھی، نبی ﷺ نے یہ حکم اس لئے دیا کہ قربانی کرنے والے ان لوگوں کی بھی کھانے کے لئے گوشت دے دیں جو قربانی نہیں کرسکے اور ہم نے وہ وقت دیکھا ہے جب ہم اپنی قربانی کے جانور کے پائے محفوظ کرکے رکھ لیتے تھے اور دس دن بعد انہیں کھالیتے تھے، میں نے عرض کیا کہ آپ کو ایسا کرنے کی ضرورت کیوں پیش آتی تھی؟ تو انہوں نے ہنس کر فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے اہل خانہ نے کبھی تین دن تک روٹی سالن سے پیٹ نہیں بھرا تھا، یہاں تک کہ وہ اللہ سے جا ملے۔
Aabis bin Rabia kahte hain ki humne Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) pucha kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teen din ke bad qurbani ka khana haram qarar de diya tha? Unhon ne farmaya nahin, albatta us zamane mein qurbani bahut kam ki jati thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye hukm is liye diya ki qurbani karne wale un logon ki bhi khane ke liye gosht de dein jo qurbani nahin karsake aur humne wo waqt dekha hai jab hum apni qurbani ke janwar ke paaye mahfooz karke rakh lete the aur dus din bad unhen khalete the, maine arz kiya ki aapko aisa karne ki zaroorat kyun pesh aati thi? To unhon ne hans kar farmaya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ahl khana ne kabhi teen din tak roti salan se pet nahin bhara tha, yahan tak ki wo Allah se ja mile.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ؟ فَقَالَتْ:" نَعَمْ، أَصَابَ النَّاسَ شِدَّةٌ، فَأَحَبَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُطْعِمَ الْغَنِيُّ الْفَقِيرَ، ثُمَّ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُونَ الْكُرَاعَ بَعْدَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ"، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: مِمَّ ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ: فَضَحِكَتْ، وَقَالَتْ: " مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ مِنْ خُبْزٍ مَأْدُومٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ حَتَّى لَحِقَ باللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ" .
