Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25554
Abu Nufail narrated that I asked Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, "Were poems recited in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" She said, "It was the most disliked thing by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him."

ابو نوفل کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ کے یہاں اشعار سنائے جاتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ وہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے ناپسندیدہ بات تھی
Abu Nofal kehte hain ke maine Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se poocha ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke yahan ashaar sunae jate the? Unhon ne farmaya ke woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek sab se napasandeedah baat thi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَوْفَلٍ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُتَسَامَعُ عِنْدَهُ الشِّعْرُ؟ فَقَالَتْ:" قَدْ كَانَ أَبْغَضَ الْحَدِيثِ إِلَيْهِ" .
