Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25579
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever two things were presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and one of them was easier, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would choose the easier one.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ جب بھی نبی ﷺ کے سامنے دو چیزیں پیش کی جاتیں اور ان میں سے ایک چیز زیادہ آسان ہوتی تو نبی ﷺ آسان چیز کو اختیار فرما لیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh jab bhi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne do cheezen pesh ki jati thin aur in mein se aik cheez zyada asaan hoti tou Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asaan cheez ko ikhtiyar farma lete thay.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: " مَا خُيِّرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ قَطُّ، أَحَدُهُمَا أَيْسَرُ مِنَ الْآخَرِ، إِلَّا أَخَذَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَيْسَرُ" .
