Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25660
Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated: "I used to enter the room where the graves of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and my father were, even with my head uncovered, because I considered that only my husband and father were there. But when Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was buried there, by Allah, due to the modesty of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), whenever I entered that room, I would cover myself properly with my sheet."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میرے گھر کے جس کمرے میں نبی ﷺ اور میرے والد کی قبریں تھیں، میں وہاں اپنے سر پر دو بٹہ نہ ہونے کی حالت میں بھی چلی جاتی تھی کیونکہ میں سمجھتی تھی کہ یہاں صرف میرے شوہر اور والد ہی تو ہیں، لیکن جب حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بھی تدفین ہوئی تو واللہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی حیاء کی وجہ سے میں جب بھی اس کمرے میں گئی تو اپنی چادر اچھی طرح لپیٹ کر ہی گئی۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke mere ghar ke jis kamare mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur mere walid ki qabrein thin, mein wahan apne sar par do batta na hone ki halat mein bhi chali jati thi kyunkay mein samajhti thi ke yahan sirf mere shohar aur walid hi to hain, lekin jab Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki bhi tadfeen hui to wallah Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki haya ki wajah se mein jab bhi is kamare mein gayi to apni chadar acchi tarah lapet kar hi gayi.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: " كُنْتُ أَدْخُلُ بَيْتِي الَّذِي دُفِنَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي، فَأَضَعُ ثَوْبِي، فَأَقُولُ: إِنَّمَا هُوَ زَوْجِي وَأَبِي، فَلَمَّا دُفِنَ عُمَرُ مَعَهُمْ، فَوَاللَّهِ مَا دَخَلْتُ إِلَّا وَأَنَا مَشْدُودَةٌ عَلَيَّ ثِيَابِي حَيَاءً مِنْ عُمَرَ" .
