Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25748
Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let none of you say, 'My soul has become evil.' But he may say, 'My heart has become hardened."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا تم میں سے کوئی شخص یہ نہ کہے کہ میرا نفس خبیث ہوگیا ہے، البتہ یہ کہہ سکتا ہے کہ میرا دل سخت ہوگیا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne irshad farmaya tum mein se koi shakhs yeh na kahe ki mera nafs khabees hogaya hai, albatta yeh keh sakta hai ki mera dil sakht hogaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ: خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي، وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ: لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي" . قَالَ وَكِيعٌ: الْغَثَيَانُ.
