The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2583
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in his sermon in the plain of Arafat: "If a Muhrim (person in the state of Ihram) does not find a lower garment to tie, then he should wear trousers, and if he does not find shoes, then he should wear socks.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے میدان عرفات میں خطبہ دیتے ہوئے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب محرم کو نیچے باندھنے کے لئے تہبند نہ ملے تو اسے شلوار پہن لینی چاہئے، اور اگر جوتی نہ ملے تو موزے پہن لینے چاہئے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne maidan Arafat mein khutba dete huye irshad farmaya: "Jab muharram ko neeche bandhne ke liye tehband na mile to use shalwar pehan leni chahiye, aur agar jooti na mile to moze pehan lene chahiye."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ بِعَرَفَاتٍ، فَقَالَ:" مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا، فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ، فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ".
