Completion of Musnad Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)
تتمة مسند عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25849
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: The reward of prayer offered while sitting is half of the reward of prayer offered while standing.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنے کے ثواب سے نصف ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya baith kar namaz parhne ka sawab kharay ho kar namaz parhne ke sawab se nisf hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ , عَنْ شَرِيكٍ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ , عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ , عَنْ السَّائِبِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ" .
