Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25939
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "None of you should say that my soul has become evil, rather he may say that my heart has become hard."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا تم میں سے کوئی شخص یہ نہ کہے کہ میرا نفس خبیث ہوگیا ہے، البتہ یہ کہہ سکتا ہے کہ میرا دل سخت ہوگیا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya tum mein se koi shakhs ye na kahe ki mera nafs khabees ho gaya hai, albatta ye keh sakta hai ki mera dil sakht ho gaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي , وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي" .
