The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2597
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If a person, upon approaching his wife for intimacy, were to recite this supplication: 'Allahumma jannibni-sh-shaytana wa jannibi-sh-shaytana ma razaqtani' (O Allah, keep Satan away from me and keep Satan away from what you bestow upon us [i.e., offspring]), then if Allah decrees for them to have a child from that union, Satan will never be able to harm that child."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس ملاقات کے لئے آ کر یہ دعا پڑھ لے: «اَللّٰهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبْ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنِي» ”اللہ کے نام سے، اے اللہ! مجھے بھی شیطان سے محفوظ فرما اور اس ملاقات کے نتیجے میں آپ جو اولاد ہمیں عطا فرمائیں، اسے بھی شیطان سے محفوظ فرمائیے“، تو اگر ان کے مقدر میں اولاد ہوئی تو اس اولاد کو شیطان کبھی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Agar koi shakhs apni biwi ke paas mulaqat ke liye aa kar yeh dua padh le: «Allahumma jannibni-shaytan wajannibi-shaytan ma razaqtani» “Allah ke naam se, ae Allah! Mujhe bhi shaitan se mahfooz farma aur is mulaqat ke natije mein aap jo aulad hamein ata farmaen, usay bhi shaitan se mahfooz farmaie”, to agar in ke muqaddar mein aulad hui to is aulad ko shaitan kabhi nuqsan nahin pahuncha sakega.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَوْ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ إِذَا أَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي الشَّيْطَانَ، وَجَنِّبْ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنِي، ثُمَّ كَانَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ، إِلَّا لَمْ يُسَلَّطْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّيْطَانُ أَوْ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ الشَّيْطَانُ".
