Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26105
It is narrated by Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me and a Jewish woman was sitting with me. She was saying, "Do you know that you will be tested in your graves?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned to us and said, "Only the Jews will be subjected to the trial." After some time had passed, one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "Do you know that it has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves?" After that, I always heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave.

ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف لائے تو ایک یہودی عورت میرے یہاں بیٹھی تھی اور وہ کہہ رہی تھی کیا معلوم ہے کہ قبروں میں تمہاری آزمائش کی جائے گی، نبی ﷺ نے ہماری طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا یہودیوں کو ہی آزمائش میں مبتلا کیا جائے گا، کچھ عرصہ گذرنے کے بعد ایک دن نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا کیا تمہیں پتہ چلا کہ مجھ پر وحی آگئی ہے کہ تمہیں قبروں میں آزمایا جائے گا؟ اس کے بعد میں نے ہمیشہ نبی ﷺ کو عذاب قبر سے پناہ مانگتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
Um ul momineen Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere pass tashreef laye to ek yahudi aurat mere yahan bethi thi aur wo keh rahi thi kya maloom hai ke qabron mein tumhari azmaish ki jaye gi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humari taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmaya yahudiyon ko hi azmaish mein mubtala kiya jaye ga, kuch arsa guzarne ke baad ek din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhse farmaya kya tumhein pata chala ke mujh par wahi aa gai hai ke tumhein qabron mein azmaya jaye ga? Iske baad mein ne hamesha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko azab qabar se panah mangte hue suna hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ , وَهِيَ تَقُولُ: أُشْعِرْتُ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ؟ فَارْتَاعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا تُفْتَنُ يَهُوَدُ" , قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَلَبِثْنَا لَيَالِيَ , ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أُشْعِرْتُ أَنَّهُ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ" , وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدُ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ .
