Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26142
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would not leave any cloth in his house that had a sign of the cross on it, but would erase it.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنے گھر میں کوئی ایسا کپڑا نہیں چھوڑتے تھے جس میں صلیب کا نشان بنا ہوا ہو، یہاں تک کہ اسے ختم کردیتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi Sal Allaho Alaihi Wasallam apne ghar mein koi aisa kapra nahin chhorte thay jis mein saleeb ka nishan bana hua ho, yahan tak ke use khatam karte.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حِطَّانَ , أَنَّ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ , أَخْبَرَتْهُ , وَأَبُو عَامِرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ يَحْيَى , عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حِطَّانَ , أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمْ يَكُنْ يَدَعُ فِي بَيْتِهِ ثَوْبًا فِيهِ تَصْلِيبٌ إِلَّا قَضَبَهُ" , قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ وَقَدْ كَانَ خَالَطَ ثِيَابَنَا الْحَرِيرُ .
