Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26151
Abu Qaza'a narrates that once Caliph Abdul Malik was performing Tawaf of the Ka'aba. During the Tawaf, he said, "May Allah's curse be upon Ibn Zubayr, who falsely attributes to Umm al-Mumineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) by saying, 'I heard her say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'O Aisha! If the time of your people were not close to disbelief, I would have demolished the Ka'aba and included the Hateem within it, because your people excluded it from the structure of the Ka'aba.'" Upon hearing this, Harith ibn Abdillah ibn Abi Rabee'a said, "O Commander of the Faithful! Do not say this, for I have also heard this Hadith from Umm al-Mumineen." Abdul Malik replied, "If I had heard this Hadith before I had him (Ibn Zubayr) killed, I would have left the Ka'aba standing as Ibn Zubayr had built it."

ابو قزعہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ خلیفہ عبدالملک بیت اللہ کا طواف کر رہا تھا، دوران طواف وہ کہنے لگا کہ ابن زبیر پر اللہ کی مار ہو، ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی طرف جھوٹی نسبت کر کے کہتا ہے کہ میں نے انہیں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا اے عائشہ! اگر تمہاری قوم کا زمانہ کفر کے قریب نہ ہوتا تو میں بیت اللہ کو شہید کر کے حطیم کا حصہ بھی اس میں شامل کردیتا کیونکہ تمہاری قوم نے بیت اللہ کی عمارت میں سے اسے چھوڑ دیا تھا، اس پر حارث بن عبداللہ بن ابی ربیعہ نے کہا امیر المومنین! یہ بات نہ کہیں کیونکہ یہ حدیث تو میں نے بھی ام المومنین سے سنی ہے، تو عبدالملک نے کہا کہ اگر میں نے اسے شہید کرنے سے پہلے یہ حدیث سنی ہوتی تو میں اسے ابن زبیر کی تعمیر پر برقرار رہنے دیتا۔
Abu Qaza kehte hain ke ek martaba Khalifa Abdul Malik Bait Ullah ka tawaf kar raha tha, dauran tawaf wo kehne laga ke Ibn Zubair par Allah ki maar ho, Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ki taraf jhooti nisbat kar ke kehta hai ke maine unhen ye farmate hue suna hai ke Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Ayesha! Agar tumhari qaum ka zamana kufr ke qareeb na hota to main Bait Ullah ko shaheed kar ke Hateem ka hissa bhi is mein shamil kar deta kyunki tumhari qaum ne Bait Ullah ki imarat mein se use chhor diya tha, is par Haris bin Abd Allah bin Abi Rabee'ah ne kaha Amir ul Momineen! Ye baat na kahen kyunki ye hadees to maine bhi Umm ul Momineen se suni hai, to Abdul Malik ne kaha ke agar maine use shaheed karne se pehle ye hadees suni hoti to main use Ibn Zubair ki tameer par barqarar rahne deta.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ السَّهْمِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي قَزَعَةَ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذْ قَالَ: قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَيْثُ يَكْذِبُ عَلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ , يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُهَا وَهِيَ تَقُولُ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" يَا عَائِشَةُ , لَوْلَا حِدْثَانُ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ لَنَقَبْتُ الْبَيْتَ" قَالَ أَبِي: قَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ: لَنَقَضْتُ الْبَيْتَ حَتَّى أَزِيدَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحِجْرِ , فَإِنَّ قَوْمَكِ قَصَّرُوا عَنِ الْبِنَاءِ , فَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ: لَا تَقُلْ هَذَا يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ , فَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تُحَدِّثُ هَذَا , فَقَالَ: لَوْ كُنْتُ سَمِعْتُ هَذَا قَبْلَ أَنْ أَهْدِمَهُ , لَتَرَكْتُهُ عَلَى بِنَاءِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ .
