Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26168
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would enter his house at night, the first thing he would do is use the miswak (tooth stick). And when he would leave his house, the last thing he would do before leaving, was to pray two rak'ah (units of prayer) before Fajr (dawn prayer).

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو جب اپنے گھر میں داخل ہوتے تھے تو سب سے پہلے مسواک فرماتے تھے اور جب گھر سے نکلتے تھے تو سب سے آخر میں فجر سے پہلے کی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam raat ko jab apne ghar mein dakhil hote thy to sab se pehle miswak farmate thy aur jab ghar se nikalte thy to sab se akhir mein fajr se pehle ki 2 rakatain parhte thy.
حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ , عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ؟ قَالَتْ:" كَانَ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ , ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ , فَإِذَا دَخَلَ تَسَوَّكَ" .
