Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26201
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed "Tahleel" with one of his wives at night and went to sleep in a state of Janaabah (major ritual impurity). When the morning came, he performed Ghusl (ritual bath) and fasted that day.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنی کسی زوجہ کے ساتھ رات کو " تخلیہ " کیا اور وجوب غسل کی حالت میں ہی سو گئے جب صبح ہوئی تو غسل کرلیا اور اس دن کا روزہ رکھ لیا۔
Hazrat Aisha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne apni kisi zojain ke sath raat ko "takhliya" kiya aur wajoob ghusl ki halat mein hi so gaye jab subah hui to ghusl karliya aur us din ka roza rakh liya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَفْلَحُ , عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَاقَعَ أَهْلَهُ , ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ فَاغْتَسَلَ , وَصَلَّى وَصَامَ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ" .
