Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26260
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (RA) that after the demise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the wives of the Prophet (PBUH) intended to send Usman (RA) to Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) to receive their share of inheritance. Ayesha (RA) said to them, "Don't you know that the Prophet (PBUH) said, 'We [Prophets] do not leave behind any inheritance. What we leave behind is charity.'"

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے وصال کے بعد ازواج مطہرات نے نبی ﷺ کو وراثت میں سے اپنا حصہ وصول کرنے کے لئے حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھیجنا چاہا تو حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہم وراثت میں کچھ نہیں چھوڑتے، ہم جو کچھ چھوڑ کر جاتے ہیں تو وہ صدقہ ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke wisal ke bad azwaj mutahirat ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko wirasat mein se apna hissa wasool karne ke liye Hazrat Abubakar Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke pass Hazrat Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko bhejna chaha to Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne un se farmaya kya tumhen maloom nahi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hum wirasat mein kuch nahi chhorte, hum jo kuch chhor kar jate hain to woh sadaqah hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرَدْنَ أَنْ يُرْسِلْنَ عُثْمَانَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَسْأَلْنَهُ مِيرَاثَهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُنَّ عَائِشَةُ: أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَاهُ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ" .
