Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26525
Narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): Once I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) under a single blanket and my period started. I slipped away to attend to it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Are you menstruating?" I replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I am experiencing what women experience." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This is what has been decreed for the daughters of Adam." I went, purified myself, tied a cloth around my waist, and then came back and slipped under the blanket with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک لحاف میں تھی کہ مجھے ایام شروع ہوگئے، میں کھسکنے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تمہیں ایام آنے لگے، میں نے کہا یا رسول اللہ مجھے بھی وہی کیفیت پیش آرہی ہے جو دوسری عورتوں کو پیش آتی ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ وہی چیز ہے جو حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کی تمام بیٹیوں کے لئے لکھ دی گئی ہے پھر میں وہاں سے چلی گئی اپنی حالت درست کی اور کپڑا باندھ لیا پھر آکر نبی ﷺ کے لحاف میں گھس گئی۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ek lihaf mein thi ki mujhe ayam shuru hogaye, main khiskne lagi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tumhen ayam aane lage, maine kaha Ya Rasulullah mujhe bhi wohi kefiyat pesh arahi hai jo dusri auraton ko pesh aati hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ye wohi cheez hai jo Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam ki tamam betiyon ke liye likh di gayi hai phir main wahan se chali gayi apni halat durust ki aur kapda bandh liya phir aakar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke lihaf mein ghus gayi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: حِضْتُ وَأَنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَوْبه , قَالَتْ: فَانْسَلَلْتُ، فَقَالَ:" أَنُفِسْتِ؟" , قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَجَدْتُ مَا تَجِدُ النِّسَاءُ، قَالَ: " ذَاكَ مَا كُتِبَ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ" , قَالَتْ: فَانْطَلَقْتُ، فَأَصْلَحْتُ مِنْ شَأْنِي، فَاسْتَثْفَرْتُ بِثَوْبٍ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ، فَدَخَلْتُ مَعَهُ فِي لِحَافِهِ.
