Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26544
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, most of his prayers were offered while sitting.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا جس وقت وصال ہوا تو آپ ﷺ کی اکثر نمازیں بیٹھ کر ہوتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jis waqt wisal hua to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aksar namazain beth kar hoti thin.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: " مَا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى كَانَ أَكْثَرَ صَلَاتِهِ جَالِسًا" .
