Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26726
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, most of his prayers were offered while sitting. And the most beloved deed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the one that was done regularly, even if it was little.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا جس وقت وصال ہوا تو آپ ﷺ کی اکثر نمازیں بیٹھ کر ہوتی تھیں اور نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے پسندیدہ عمل وہ تھا جو ہمیشہ ہو اگرچہ تھوڑا ہو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jis waqt wisal hua to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aksar namazain beth kar hoti thin aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek sab se pasandida amal wo tha jo hamesha ho agarche thora ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ: وَالَّذِي ذَهَبَ بِنَفْسِهِ، مَا مَاتَ حَتَّى كَانَ " أَكْثَرُ صَلَاتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، وَكَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَيْهِ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ الْعَبْدُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسِيرًا" .
