Hadith of Maymunah bint al-Harith al-Hilaliyah, the wife of the Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26854
It is narrated on the authority of Maimoona that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to sleep with his wives even during their periods, and the only cloth between them used to be the one above the knees.

حضرت میمونہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تو اپنی بیویوں کے ساتھ خواہ وہ ایام ہی سے ہوتیں سوجاتے تھے اور ان دونوں کے درمیان صرف وہی کپڑا ہوتا تھا جو گھٹنوں سے اوپر ہوتا تھا۔
Hazrat Maimoona se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) to apni biwiyon ke sath chahe wo ayaam hi se hoti sojate the aur in donon ke darmiyaan sirf wahi kapda hota tha jo ghutnon se upar hota tha.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يُبَاشِرُ نِسَاءَهُ فَوْقَ الْإِزَارِ وَهُنَّ حُيَّضٌ" .
