The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3129
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked which drink is the best? He said: "That which is sweet and cold."
Grade: Hasan
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا گیا کہ کون سا مشروب سب سے عمدہ ہے؟ فرمایا: ”جو میٹھا اور ٹھنڈا ہو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pucha gaya ki kaun sa mashroob sab se umda hai? Farmaya: ”Jo meetha aur thanda ho.“
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ أَيُّ الشَّرَابِ أَطْيَبُ؟ قَالَ:" الْحُلْوُ الْبَارِدُ".
