ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3131
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me while I was playing with some children. I hid behind a door, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called me and affectionately made me lie down on the ground. Then he entrusted me to Sayyiduna Amir Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him). I came back and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he was having his meal.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا ایک مرتبہ میرے قریب سے گزر ہوا، میں اس وقت بچوں کے ساتھ کھیل رہا تھا، میں ایک دروازے کے پیچھے جا کر چھپ گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے بلایا اور پیار سے زمین پر پچھاڑ دیا، پھر مجھے سیدنا امیر معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بھیج دیا، میں نے واپس آ کر نبی ﷺ کو بتادیا کہ وہ کھانا کھا رہے ہیں۔
Sayyidaana Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka aik martaba mere qareeb se guzar hua, mein us waqt bachchon ke saath khel raha tha, mein aik darwaze ke peeche ja kar chhup gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe bulaya aur pyaar se zameen par pachhar diya, phir mujhe Sayyidaana Ameer Muawiya Raziallahu Anhu ke paas bhej diya, mein ne wapas aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko batadya keh woh khana kha rahe hain.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ:" مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ، فَاخْتَبَأْتُ مِنْهُ خَلْفَ بَابٍ، فَدَعَانِي، فَحَطَأَنِي حَطْأَةً، ثُمَّ بَعَثَنِي إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ، فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ: هُوَ يَأْكُلُ".
