The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3155
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not tie up any living creature and then use it as a target."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کسی ذی روح چیز کو باندھ کر اس پر نشانہ صحیح مت کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Kisi zi rooh cheez ko bandh kar us par nishana sahih mat karo“.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" لَا تَتَّخِذُوا شَيْئًا فِيهِ الرُّوحُ غَرَضًا".
