The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3176
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out for the conquest of Makkah in the month of Ramadan. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was fasting. When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached a place called Qudayd, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked for a glass of milk and drank it, and the people also broke their fast, until they reached Makkah al-Mukarramah.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ فتح مکہ کے حوالے سے ماہ رمضان میں روانہ ہوئے، آپ ﷺ روزے سے تھے، جب قدید نامی جگہ پر پہنچے تو آپ ﷺ نے دودھ کا ایک گلاس منگوایا اور اسے نوش فرما لیا، اور لوگوں نے بھی روزہ ختم کرلیا یہاں تک کہ مکہ مکرمہ پہنچ گئے۔
Sayyeda Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai keh Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Fath Makkah ke hawale se mah e Ramzan mein rawana huye, Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rozedar thy, jab Qadeed nami jaga per pohanche to Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne doodh ka aik glass mangwaya aur usay nosh farma liya, aur logon ne bhi roza khatam kar liya yahan tak ke Makkah Mukarramah pohanch gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ" خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ يَغْزُو مَكَّةَ، فَصَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حَتَّى أَتَى قُدَيْدًا، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ، فَشَرِبَهُ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَفْطَرَ أَصْحَابُهُ حَتَّى أَتَوْا مَكَّةَ".
