The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3184
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer in Mina. I came riding on a donkey and I was about to reach puberty. I left it to graze and joined the row. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not say anything to me.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ لوگوں کو میدان منیٰ میں نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، میں ایک گدھی پر سوا ہو کر آیا، اسے چرنے کے لئے چھوڑ دیا اور خود صف میں شامل ہو گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے کچھ بھی نہیں کہا، اور اس وقت میں قریب البلوغ تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) logon ko maidan Mina mein namaz parha rahe the, mein ek gadhi par sawaar hokar aaya, use charne ke liye chhod diya aur khud saf mein shamil ho gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe kuchh bhi nahin kaha, aur us waqt mein qareebul balogh tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: جِئْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم" يصلي بمنى، وأنا على حمار، فتركته بين يدي الصف، فدخلت في الصلاة، وقد ناهزت الاحتلام، فلم يعب ذلك".
