ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3263
Taus, may Allah have mercy on him, said that Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, the most knowledgeable among the Companions, told me that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is better for one of you to give his land as a gift to his brother than to take a fixed rent from him for it."

طاؤس رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم میں سب سے بڑے عالم (سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما) نے بتایا (کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے) کہ ”تم میں سے کسی شخص کا اپنی زمین اپنے بھائی کو بطور ہدیہ کے پیش کر دینا اس سے بہتر ہے کہ وہ اس سے اس پر کوئی معین کرایہ وصول کرے۔“
Taous rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki mujhe sahaba raziallah anhum mein sab se bade alim (Sayyidna Ibn Abbas raziallah anhuma) ne bataya (keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai) keh ”tum mein se kisi shakhs ka apni zameen apne bhai ko ba tour hadiya ke pesh kar dena is se behtar hai ki woh is se is par koi muayyan kiraya wasool kare.“
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَعْلَمُهُمْ ، قَالَ:" وَلَكِنْ يَمْنَحُ أَخَاهُ، خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ عَلَيْهَا خَرْجًا مَعْلُومًا".
