The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3274
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Allah has forbidden you to drink alcohol, gamble, and use the kubah (a type of drum).” He (the Prophet) also said, “Every intoxicant is haram (forbidden).”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ نے تم پر شراب، جوا اور کوبہ (طبل) کو حرام قرار دیا ہے“، اسی طرح فرمایا کہ ”ہر نشہ آور چیز حرام ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Allah ne tum par sharaab, juwa aur kuba (tabl) ko haram qarar diya hai, isi tarah farmaya ki har nasha awar cheez haram hai.
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ حَبْتَرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ الْخَمْرَ، وَالْمَيْسِرَ، وَالْكُوبَةَ"، وَقَالَ:" كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ".
