The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3297
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would give something from the spoils of war to the woman and the slave, apart from their share of the booty.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ عورت اور غلام کو بھی لشکر کو حاصل ہونے والے مال غنیمت کے علاوہ میں سے کچھ دے دیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعْطِي الْمَرْأَةَ وَالْمَمْلُوكَ مِنَ الْمَغْنَمِ، دُونَ مَا يُصِيبُ الْجَيْشُ".
