ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3334
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) travelled from Madinah. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not fear anyone but Allah. Yet, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs for each prayer (shortening them) until he returned.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مدینہ منورہ سے سفر کیا، آپ ﷺ کو اللہ کے علاوہ کسی کا خوف نہیں تھا، لیکن پھر بھی آپ ﷺ نے واپس لوٹنے تک دو دو رکعتیں کر کے نماز پڑھیں (قصر فرمائی)۔
Sayidna Ibn Abbas raza Allahu anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Madina Munawwara se safar kya, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Allah ke ilawa kisi ka khauf nahi tha, lekin phir bhi aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wapas lautne tak do do rakat kar ke namaz parhin (qasar farmai).
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ" سَافَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ، لَا يَخَافُ إِلَّا اللَّهَ، يَقْصُرُ الصَّلَاةَ".
