The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3372
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I slept one night at the house of my maternal aunt, Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Maymunah bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her). A pillow was placed for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he slept with his head on its length. The people of the house also slept. Then, at midnight or a little before or after it, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up and started removing the effects of sleep. Then he recited the last ten verses of Surah Al-Imran completely. Then he came to the water-skin, untied its rope and performed ablution. Then he stood up to pray. I also stood up and did what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had done and came and stood on the left side of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took hold of me by my ear and turned me around, so I came to his right side. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued praying. The prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) consisted of thirteen rak'ahs in total.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں اپنی خالہ ام المومنین سیدہ میمونہ بنت حارث رضی اللہ عنہا کے یہاں ایک مرتبہ رات کو سویا، نبی ﷺ کے لئے تکیہ رکھ دیا گیا اور آپ ﷺ اس کی لمبائی پر سر رکھ کر سو گئے، گھر والے بھی سو گئے، پھر نصف رات یا اس سے کچھ آگے پیچھے نبی ﷺ بیدار ہوئے اور نیند کے اثرات دور کرنے لگے، پھر سورہ آل عمران کی اختتامی دس آیات مکمل پڑھیں، پھر مشکیزے کے پاس آ کر اس کی رسی کھولی اور وضو کیا، پھر نماز پڑھنے کے لئے کھڑے ہوئے، میں نے بھی کھڑے ہو کر وہی کیا جو نبی ﷺ نے کیا تھا اور آ کر نبی ﷺ کی بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے کان سے پکڑ کر گھمایا تو میں آپ ﷺ کی دائیں طرف پہنچ گیا، نبی ﷺ اس دوران نماز پڑھتے رہے، نبی ﷺ کی نماز کل تیرہ رکعت پر مشتمل تھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki mein apni khala Ummalmomineen Sayyida Maimoona bint Haris ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke yahan ek martaba raat ko soya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke liye takiya rakh diya gaya aur aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is ki lambai par sar rakh kar so gaye, ghar wale bhi so gaye, phir nisf raat ya is se kuch aage piche Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bedar huye aur neend ke asrat door karne lage, phir Surah Al-Imran ki ikhtemti das ayat mukammal parhin, phir mashize ke pas aa kar is ki rassi kholi aur wazu kiya, phir namaz padhne ke liye khare huye, mein ne bhi khare ho kar wohi kiya jo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kiya tha aur aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki bayen janib khara ho gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe kaan se pakar kar ghumaya to mein aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki dayen taraf pahunch gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is dauran namaz parhte rahe, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz kul terah rakat par mushtamil thi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: بِتُّ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ، فَقُلْتُ: لَأَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَى صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَطُرِحَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وِسَادَةٌ،" فَنَامَ فِي طُولِهَا، وَنَامَ أَهْلُهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ نِصْفَ اللَّيْلِ، أَوْ قَبْلَهُ، أَوْ بَعْدَهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَمْسَحُ النَّوْمَ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ الْآيَاتِ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ آلِ عِمْرَانَ حَتَّى خَتَمَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ، فَأَتَى شَنًّا مُعَلَّقًا، فَأَخَذَ فَتَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي، فَقُمْتُ فَصَنَعْتُ مِثْلَ مَا صَنَعَ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَقُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ، فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِي، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِأُذُنِي فَجَعَلَ يَفْتِلُهَا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ".
