The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3437
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and stood on his left side. He took hold of me and made me stand on his right side. I was ten years old at that time.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ نماز پڑھی اور بائیں جانب ان کے پہلو میں کھڑا ہو گیا، انہوں نے مجھے پکڑ کر اپنی دائیں جانب کر لیا، اس وقت میری عمر دس سال تھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah namaz parhi aur bayein janib un ke pehlu mein khara ho gaya, unhon ne mujhe pakar kar apni dayen janib kar liya, us waqt meri umar das saal thi.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَأَخَذَنِي فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ". قَالَ: وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ ابْنُ عَشْرِ سِنِينَ.
