Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3829
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the Day of the Battle of the Trench, the polytheists did not allow the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to pray the afternoon prayer (Asr) until the sun had set. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "May Allah fill their houses and their graves with fire, for they prevented us from praying the afternoon prayer until the sun had set."

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ خندق کے دن مشرکین نے نبی ﷺ کو نماز عصر پڑھنے کی مہلت نہ دی، حتی کہ سورج غروب ہوگیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ ان کے گھروں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے کہ انہوں نے ہمیں نماز عصر نہیں پڑھنے دی یہاں تک کہ سورج غروب ہو گیا۔“
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Ghazwa Khandaq ke din mushrikeen ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko namaz Asr padhne ki muhlat na di hat ta ki sooraj ghuroob ho gaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah un ke gharon aur qabron ko aag se bhar de ki unhon ne hamen namaz Asr nahin padhne di yahan tak ki sooraj ghuroob ho gaya
حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ: حَبَسَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى اصْفَرَّتْ أَوْ احْمَرَّتْ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَالَ:" شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى، مَلَأَ اللَّهُ أَجْوَافَهُمْ أَوْ حَشَا اللَّهُ أَجْوَافَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا".
