Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3975

Our master Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, led a prayer. I don't remember whether something was omitted or added to it. However, when he finished the prayer with salam (greetings of peace), he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness.

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے کوئی نماز پڑھائی، مجھے یہ یاد نہیں کہ اس میں کچھ کمی ہو گئی یا بیشی؟ بہرحال! جب سلام پھیرا تو سہو کے دو سجدے کر لئے۔

Sayyidna Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne koi namaz parhayi mujhe ye yaad nahi ke is mein kuch kami ho gayi ya beshi baharhaal jab salam phera to sahu ke do sajday kar liye

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً لَا أَدْرِي زَادَ، أَوْ نَقَصَ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ".
