Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4215
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He is not one of us who slaps his cheeks, tears his clothes, or calls out with the call of the Days of Ignorance."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”وہ شخص ہم میں سے نہیں ہے جو اپنے رخساروں کو پیٹے، گریبانوں کو پھاڑے اور جاہلیت کی سی پکار لگائے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Woh shakhs hum mein se nahi hai jo apne rukhsaron ko peete, garebanon ko phaade aur jahiliyat ki si pukar lagaye."
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ. ح وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ، وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ".
