The Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5507
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave (their heads)." The people said: "Invoke (Allah's blessings) also on those who trim (their hair)." The Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, invoked (Allah's blessings) on those who trim their hair) the fourth time, saying: "O Allah, forgive those who trim (their hair).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! حلق کرانے والوں کو معاف فرما دے۔“ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: قصر کرانے والوں کے لئے بھی تو دعا فرمائیے، نبی ﷺ نے چوتھی مرتبہ قصر کرانے والوں کے لئے فرمایا: کہ اے اللہ! قصر کرانے والوں کو بھی معاف فرما دے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Aye Allah! Halq karane walon ko maaf farma de.” Logon ne arz kiya: Qasar karane walon ke liye bhi to dua farmaie, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chauthi martaba qasar karane walon ke liye farmaya: ki aye Allah! Qasar karane walon ko bhi maaf farma de.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ:" وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ".
