The Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both)

مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5731

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah said: "Every intoxicant is alcohol and every intoxicant is forbidden."


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ہر نشہ آور چیز شراب ہے اور ہر نشہ آور چیز حرام ہے۔“

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Har nasha awar cheez sharaab hai aur har nasha awar cheez haraam hai.“

قَالَ عَبْد الله بْنِ أَحْمَّد: قَالَ أَبِي: وَفِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ، وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ".
