The Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6231
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that once the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered the Ka'bah accompanied by Usamah ibn Zayd, Uthman ibn Talhah, and Bilal. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, instructed Bilal to close the door. When he emerged, Bilal was asked what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did inside. Bilal said that he prayed two rak'ahs on the right side, one rak'ah on the left side and three rak'ahs at the rear, leaving a space of three cubits between himself and the wall of the Ka'bah. Salem said that at that time the Ka'bah was built upon six pillars.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ایک مرتبہ بیت اللہ میں داخل ہوئے اس وقت نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ عثمان بن طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ اور سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ تھے نبی ﷺ کے حکم پر سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے دروازہ بند کر دیا پھر نبی ﷺ باہر تشریف لائے تو سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے میں نے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے اندر کیا کیا؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے دو ستون دائیں ہاتھ، ایک ستون بائیں ہاتھ اور تین ستون پیچھے چھوڑ کرنماز پڑھی اس وقت نبی ﷺ اور خانہ کعبہ کی دیوار کے درمیان تین گز کا فاصلہ تھا سالم کہتے ہیں کہ اس زمانے میں بیت اللہ چھ ستونوں پر قائم تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek martaba Baitullah mein dakhil hue us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Usama bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Usman bin Talha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) the Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hukum par Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne darwaza band kar diya phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bahar tashrif laaye to Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se maine pucha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne andar kya kiya? Unhonne bataya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do sutun daayen hath, ek sutun baayen hath aur teen sutun peeche chhod karnamaz padhi us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur Khana Kaba ki deewar ke darmiyan teen gaz ka fasla tha Salem kehte hain ki us zamane mein Baitullah chhe sutunon par qaayam tha.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ هُوَ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ , وَبِلَالٌ , وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْحَجَبِيُّ، وَأَغْلَقَهَا عَلَيْهِ، فَمَكَثَ فِيهَا، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ سَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا حِينَ خَرَجَ , مَاذَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ:" جَعَلَ عَمُودًا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، وَعَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَثَلَاثَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ وَرَاءَهُ، وَكَانَ الْبَيْتُ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَعْمِدَةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى، وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِدَارِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَذْرُعٍ".
