Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7213
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he once saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raising his hands in supplication, and he (Abu Hurairah) could see the whiteness of the Prophet's armpits. The narrator said that this was on the occasion of the prayer for rain (Salat al-Istisqa).

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو اس طرح ہاتھ پھیلائے ہوئے دیکھا کہ میں آپ ﷺ کی مبارک بغل کی سفیدی دیکھ رہا تھا راوی کہتے ہیں کہ یہ نماز استسقاء کا موقع تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke maine ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko is tarah hath phelaye huye dekha ke main aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki mubarak baghal ki safedi dekh raha tha ravi kehte hain ke yeh namaz istisqa ka mauqa tha.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ ، عَنْ بَرَكَةَ ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمُدُّ يَدَيْهِ، حَتَّى إِنِّي لَأَرَى بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ". وَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ: يَعْنِي فِي الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ.
