Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7275
'Abdul Rahman A'raj (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Once, I heard Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) saying, "You people think that Abu Hurairah narrates so many Hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (Allah has promised a gathering of all people.) I was a poor man, and I would stay with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to fill my stomach with just enough food to survive. (I would get enough food from there to fill my stomach and then I would spend the rest of the day in the company of the Prophet). While the Muhajireen (emigrants) would be busy trading in the markets and the Ansar (helpers) would be busy taking care of their properties and gardens. Once, I was present in the gathering of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he said: 'Who among you will spread his sheet (for me to sit) until I finish my talk and then wrap it around himself? He will never forget anything he hears from me.' So I spread the sheet I was wearing, and when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished his talk, I wrapped it around myself. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I have never forgotten anything I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) since that day."

عبد الرحمن اعرج رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ تم لوگوں کا یہ خیال ہے کہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ علیہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے حوالے سے بکثرت حدیثیں بیان کرتے ہیں (اللہ کے یہاں سب کے جمع ہونے کا وعدہ ہے میں تو ایک مسکین آدمی تھا) اور اپنے پیٹ بھرنے کے لئے گزارے کے بقد ر کھانا حاصل کرنے کے لئے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ چمٹا رہتا تھا (مجھے وہاں سے اتنا کھانا مل جاتا تھا کہ پیٹ بھر جائے پھر سارا دن بارگاہ نبوت میں ہی رہتا) جب کہ مہاجرین بازاروں اور منڈیوں میں تجارت میں مشغول رہتے اور انصاری صحابہ اپنے اموال و باغات کی خبرگیری میں مصروف رہتے تھے۔ میں ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی مجلس میں حاضر ہوا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: کون ہے جو میری گفتگو ختم ہونے تک اپنی چادر (میرے بیٹھنے کے لئے) بچھادے پھر اسے جسم سے چمٹا لے؟ پھر وہ مجھ سے سنی ہوئی کوئی بات ہرگز نہ بھولے گا۔ چنانچہ میں نے اپنے جسم پر جو چادر اوڑھ رکھی تھی وہ بچھا دی جب نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنی گفتگو مکمل فرمائی تو میں نے اسے اپنے جسم پر لپیٹ لیا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے قبضہ قدرت میں میری جان ہے اس دن کے بعد میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے جو بات بھی سنی اسے کبھی نہیں بھولا۔
Abdul Rahman Arj rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke ek martaba maine Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah tala anhu ko ye farmate hue suna ke tum logon ka ye khayal hai ke Abu Hurairah razi Allah tala anhu alaih Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se bakasrat hadithen bayan karte hain (Allah ke yahan sab ke jama hone ka wada hai main to ek miskeen aadmi tha) aur apne pet bharne ke liye guzare ke baqadar khana hasil karne ke liye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath chipta rehta tha (mujhe wahan se itna khana mil jata tha ke pet bhar jaye phir sara din bargah nabuvvat mein hi rehta) jab ke Muhajireen bazaron aur mandiyon mein tijarat mein mashgool rehte aur Ansar sahaba apne amwal o baghat ki khabargiri mein masroof rehte the. Main ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki majlis mein hazir hua to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: kaun hai jo meri guftgu khatam hone tak apni chadar (mere baithne ke liye) bichhade phir use jism se chipta le? Phir wo mujh se suni hui koi baat hargiz na bhoole ga. Chunancha maine apne jism par jo chadar odh rakhi thi wo bichha di jab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni guftgu mukammal farmai to maine use apne jism par lapet liya is zaat ki qasam jis ke qabza qudrat mein meri jaan hai is din ke baad maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se jo baat bhi suni use kabhi nahi bhoola.
رقم الحديث: 7101 حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّكُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُكْثِرُ الْحَدِيثَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَاللَّهُ الْمَوْعِدُ، إِنِّي كُنْتُ امْرَأً مِسْكِينًا، أصحب رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مِلْءِ بَطْنِي، وَكَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَشْغَلُهُمْ الصَّفْقُ بِالْأَسْوَاقِ، وَكَانَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ يَشْغَلُهُمْ الْقِيَامُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ، فَحَضَرْتُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَجْلِسًا، فَقَالَ:" مَنْ يَبْسُطْ رِدَاءَهُ، حَتَّى أَقْضِيَ مَقَالَتِي، ثُمَّ يَقْبِضْهُ إِلَيْهِ، فَلَنْ يَنْسَى شَيْئًا سَمِعَهُ مِنِّي؟" وَبَسَطْتُ بُرْدَةً عَلَيَّ، حَتَّى قَضَى حَدِيثَهُ، ثُمَّ قَبَضْتُهَا إِلَيَّ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، مَا نَسِيتُ شَيْئًا بَعْدَ أَنْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ.
