Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7342
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If I had not feared hardship upon my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the Miswak (tooth-stick) at the time of every prayer, and to delay the Isha' prayer."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مرفوعاً مروی ہے کہ اگر مجھے اپنی امت پر مشقت کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو میں انہیں ہر نماز کے وقت مسواک کرنے اور نماز عشاء کو تاخیر سے ادا کرنے کا حکم دیتا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marfooan marvi hai ki agar mujhe apni ummat par mushqat ka andesha na hota to main unhen har namaz ke waqt miswak karne aur namaz isha ko taakhir se ada karne ka hukum deta.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي، لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِتَأْخِيرِ الْعِشَاءِ، وَالسِّوَاكِ مَعَ الصَّلَاةِ".
