Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Every child is born on natural instinct (Fitra), then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian....

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہر بچہ فطرت سلیمہ پر ہی پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ بعد میں اس کے والدین اسے یہودی، عیسائی بنا دیتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya har bachcha fitrat salima par hi paida hota hai. Baad mein uske waldain usay yahodi, eesai bana dete hain.
حدثنا عبدُ الله، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" لَا يُولَدُ مَوْلُودٌ إِلَّا عَلَى هَذِهِ الْمِلَّةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ، وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ"، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
