Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7480
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “The dust of striving in the cause of Allah and the smoke of Hell will never be combined in the nose of a believer. And faith and envy can never be combined in the heart of a believer.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مسلمان کے نتھنوں میں جہاد فی سبیل اللہ کا گرد و غبار اور جہنم کا دھواں اکٹھے نہیں ہوسکتے اسی طرح ایک مسلمان کے دل میں ایمان اور بخل اکھٹے نہیں ہوسکتے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aik musalman ke nathnon mein jihad fi sabeelillah ka gard o ghubar aur jahannam ka dhuan aik sath nahi ho sakte isi tarah aik musalman ke dil mein imaan aur bukhl aik sath nahi ho sakte.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ اللَّجْلَاجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا يَجْتَمِعُ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَدُخَانُ جَهَنَّمَ فِي مُنْخُرَيْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَا يَجْتَمِعُ شُحٌّ، وَإِيمَانٌ فِي قَلْبِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ".
