Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7536
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that my beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) advised me to adhere to three things (and I will never leave them until I die): (1) Fasting for three days every month, (2) Praying Witr before sleeping, and (3) Taking a bath on Friday.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میرے خلیل ﷺ نے تین چیزوں کی وصیت کی ہے (میں انہیں مرتے دم تک نہ چھوڑوں گا) (١) ہر مہینے میں تین دن روزہ رکھنے کی (٢) سونے سے پہلے نماز وتر پڑھنے کی۔ (٣) جمعہ کے دن غسل کرنے کی۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke mere Khalil (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teen cheezon ki wasiyat ki hai (mein unhen marte dum tak na chhorun ga) (1) Har mahine mein teen din roza rakhne ki (2) Sone se pehle namaz witr parhne ki. (3) Jumma ke din gusl karne ki.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:" أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ: صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَالْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ، وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ".
