Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7802
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): Once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up for prayer and we also stood with him. During the prayer, a villager began to supplicate: "O Allah! Have mercy upon me and Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and do not include anyone else with us." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer, turned towards him, and said: "You have restricted (the mercy of) the All-Embracing Allah."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نماز کے لئے کھڑے ہوئے ہم بھی ان کے ہمراہ کھڑے ہوگئے دوران نماز ایک دیہاتی یہ دعا کرنے لگا کہ اے اللہ! مجھ پر اور محمد ﷺ پر رحم فرما اور اس میں کسی کو ہمارے ساتھ شامل نہ فرما نبی کریم ﷺ نے سلام پھیر کر اس کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا تو نے وسعت والے اللہ (کی رحمت) کو پابند کردیا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz ke liye kharay huye hum bhi un ke hamrah kharay hogaye dauran namaz ek dehati ye dua karne laga ki aye Allah mujh per aur Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) per reham farma aur isme kisi ko humare sath shamil na farma Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne salam phir kar uski taraf mutawajjah hokar farmaya tune wusat wale Allah ki rehmat ko paband kardiya
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ، فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَمُحَمَّدًا، وَلَا تَرْحَمْ مَعَنَا أَحَدًا! فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْأَعْرَابِيِّ: " لَقَدْ تَحَجَّرْتَ وَاسِعًا" يُرِيدُ رَحْمَةَ اللَّهِ.
