Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7944
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: He who separates himself from obedience to the Amir (leader) and abandons the Jama'ah (main body of Muslims) and dies in this state, his death is a death of Jahiliyyah (ignorance). And he who fights under the banner of blind nationalism or tribalism, or supports anger and fights for it, and dies in this state, his death is also a death of Jahiliyyah. And he who rebels against my Ummah (nation), killing the righteous and the wicked, not sparing even the believers, nor fulfilling the agreements, he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص امیر کی اطاعت سے نکل گیا اور جماعت کو چھوڑ گیا اور اسی حال میں مرگیا تو اس کی موت جاہلیت کی موت ہوئی اور جو شخص کسی جھنڈے کے نیچے بےمقصد لڑتا ہے (قومی یا لسانی) تعصب کی بناء پر غصہ کا اظہار کرتا ہے اسی کی خاطر لڑتا ہے اور اسی کے پیش نظر مدد کرتا ہے اور مارا جاتا ہے تو اس کا مرنا بھی جاہلیت کے مرنے کی طرح ہوا اور جو شخص میری امت پر خروج کرے نیک و بد سب کو مارے مومن سے حیاء نہ کرے اور عہد والے سے عہد پورا نہ کرے اس کا مجھ سے کوئی تعلق نہیں اور میرا اس سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs ameer ki itaat se nikal gaya aur jamaat ko chhor gaya aur isi hal mein mar gaya to uski maut jahiliyat ki maut hui aur jo shakhs kisi jhande ke neeche bemaqsad ladta hai (qaumi ya lisani) taasub ki bina par ghussa ka izhaar karta hai usi ki khatir ladta hai aur usi ke pesh e nazar madad karta hai aur mara jata hai to uska marna bhi jahiliyat ke marne ki tarah hua aur jo shakhs meri ummat par khurooj kare nek o bad sab ko maare momin se hifazat na kare aur ahd waale se ahd pura na kare uska mujh se koi ta'alluq nahin aur mera us se koi ta'alluq nahin.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسِ بْنِ رِيَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الطَّاعَةِ، وَفَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ، فَمَاتَ، فَمِيتَتُهُ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ، وَمَنْ قَاتَلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عِمِّيَّةٍ، يَغْضَبُ لِعَصَبَتِهِ، وَيُقَاتِلُ لِعَصَبَتِهِ، وَيَنْصُرُ عَصَبَتَهُ، فَقُتِلَ، فَقِتْلَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ، وَمَنْ خَرَجَ عَلَى أُمَّتِي، يَضْرِبُ بَرَّهَا وَفَاجِرَهَا، لَا يَتَحَاشَى لِمُؤْمِنِهَا، وَلَا يَفِي لِذِي عَهْدِهَا، فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي، وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ" .
