Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8045
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Once, Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to me and said, "I came to you last night, but something prevented me from entering your house. There was a picture of a man in your house." Actually, there was a curtain in the house with a picture of a man on it. "Now order the head of that picture to be cut off so that it becomes like a tree, and order the curtain to be cut and two pillows be made of it which should be laid down and not leaned on, and order the dog to be taken out." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did so. It turned out that there was a puppy belonging to one of the grandsons (Hasan or Hussain, may Allah be pleased with them) under their bed. And he (the Prophet) said, "Gabriel (peace be upon him) kept on recommending me to treat neighbors well so much so that I thought he would soon make them heirs."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مرتبہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام میرے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ میں رات کو آپ کے پاس آیا تھا اور تو کسی چیز نے مجھے آپ کے گھر میں داخل ہونے سے نہ رو کا البتہ گھر میں ایک آدمی کی تصویر تھی۔ دراصل گھر میں ایک پردہ تھا جس پر انسانی تصویر بنی ہوئی تھی اب آپ حکم دیجئے کہ اس تصویر کا سر کاٹ دیا جائے تاکہ وہ درخت کی طرح ہوجائے اور پردے کو کاٹنے کا حکم دیجئے جس کے دو تکیے بنا لئے جائیں جو پڑے رہیں اور انہیں روندا جائے اور گھر سے کتے کو نکالنے کا حکم دے دیجئے نبی ﷺ نے ایسا ہی کیا پتہ چلا کہ ایک کتے کا پلہ تھا جو حضرات حسنین رضی اللہ عنہ کی چارپائی کے نیچے گھسا ہوا تھا۔ اور فرمایا حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام مجھے پڑوسی کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کی وصیت اتنے تسلسل کے ساتھ کرتے رہے کہ مجھے یہ خیال ہونے لگا کہ عنقریب وہ اسے وارث قرار دے دیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek martaba Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam mere pass aaye aur kehne lage ki main raat ko aapke pass aaya tha aur to kisi cheez ne mujhe aapke ghar mein dakhil hone se na roka albatta ghar mein ek aadmi ki tasveer thi. Darasal ghar mein ek parda tha jis par insani tasveer bani hui thi ab aap hukm dijiye ki is tasveer ka sar kaat diya jaye taaki woh darakht ki tarah ho jaye aur parde ko kaatne ka hukm dijiye jiske do takiye bana liye jayen jo bichhaye rahen aur unhen ronda jaye aur ghar se kutte ko nikalne ka hukm de dijiye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aisa hi kiya pata chala ki ek kutte ka pilla tha jo Hazrat-e-Hasnain ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ki charpai ke neeche ghusa hua tha. Aur farmaya Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam mujhe padosi ke sath husn-e-sulook ki wasiyat itne tasalsul ke sath karte rahe ki mujhe ye khayal hone laga ki anqareeb wo use waris qarar de denge.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَتَيْتُكَ اللَّيْلَةَ، فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْنِي أَنْ أَدْخُلَ عَلَيْكَ الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي أَنْتَ فِيهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي الْبَيْتِ تِمْثَالُ رَجُلٍ، وَكَانَ فِي الْبَيْتِ قِرَامُ سِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ، فَمُرْ بِرَأْسِ التِّمْثَالِ يُقْطَعْ، فَيُصَيَّرَ كَهَيْئَةِ الشَّجَرَةِ، وَمُرْ بِالسِّتْرِ يُقْطَعْ، فَيُجْعَلَ مِنْهُ وِسَادَتَانِ مُنْتَبَذَتَان تُوطَآَنِ، وَمُرْ بِالْكَلْبِ يُخْرَجَ". فَفَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِذَا الْكَلْبُ جَرْوٌ كَانَ لِلْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام تَحْتَ نَضَدٍ لَهُمَا .
