The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8120
And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "There are some angels of Allah who come to you in turns. Some of them come at night and some during the day. These angels gather at the time of Fajr and Asr prayers. Then those angels who were among you ascend to the heavens. And Allah Almighty, despite knowing everything, asks them, 'In what state did you leave My servants?' They say, 'When we left them, they were praying, and when we went to them, they were praying.'"

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ کے کچھ فرشتے ایسے ہیں جو باری باری تمہارے پاس آتے ہیں ان میں سے کچھ فرشتے رات کو آتے ہیں اور کچھ دن کو آتے ہیں یہ فرشتے نماز فجر اور نماز عصر کے وقت اکھٹے ہوتے ہیں پھر جو فرشتے تمہارے درمیان رہ چکے ہوتے ہیں وہ آسمانوں پر چڑھ جاتے ہیں اللہ تعالیٰ باوجودیکہ ہر چیز جانتا ہے ان سے پوچھتا ہے کہ تم نے میرے بندوں کو کس حال میں چھوڑا؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جس وقت ہم ان سے رخصت ہوئے وہ تب بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور جب ان کے پاس گئے تھے وہ تب بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah ke kuch farishtay aise hain jo bari bari tumhare pass aate hain in mein se kuch farishtay raat ko aate hain aur kuch din ko aate hain ye farishtay namaz fajr aur namaz asar ke waqt ikhatte hote hain phir jo farishtay tumhare darmiyan reh chuke hote hain wo asmanon par chadh jate hain Allah Ta'ala ba-wajood-e-kah har cheez janta hai un se poochta hai ke tum ne mere bandon ko kis haal mein chhora? Wo kehte hain ke jis waqt hum un se rukhsat hue wo tab bhi namaz parh rahe the aur jab un ke pass gaye the wo tab bhi namaz parh rahe the.
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَتَعَاقَبُونَ فِيكُمْ: مَلَائِكَةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ، وَمَلَائِكَةٌ بِالنَّهَارِ"، وَقَالَ:" يَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِينَ بَاتُوا فِيكُمْ، فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ: كَيْفَ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي؟ فَقَالُوا: تَرَكْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ، وَأَتَيْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ" .
