The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8169
And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If there was no Hijrah (migration), I would have been one of the Ansar. If the people were walking in one valley and the Ansar in another, I would walk with the Ansar in their valley."

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر ہجرت نہ ہوتی تو میں انصار کا ایک فرد ہوتا اگر لوگ ایک وادی میں چل رہے ہوں اور انصار دوسری وادی میں تو میں انصار کے ساتھ ان کی وادی میں چلوں گا۔
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar hijrat na hoti to main Ansar ka aik fard hota agar log aik wadi mein chal rahe hon aur Ansar dusri wadi mein to main Ansar ke sath un ki wadi mein chaloon ga.
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَلَوْ يَنْدَفِعُ النَّاسُ فِي شُعْبَةٍ، أَوْ فِي وَادٍ، وَالْأَنْصَارُ فِي شُعْبَةٍ، لَانْدَفَعْتُ معَ الأْنصارِ فِي شِعْبِهِمْ" .
