The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8201
And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A woman entered Hell only because of a cat which she had tied up, neither did she feed it, nor did she give it water, nor did she set it free to eat from the vermin of the earth.
Grade: Sahih
اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک عورت جہنم میں صرف ایک بلی کی وجہ سے داخل ہوگئی جسے اس نے باندھ دیا تھا خود اسے کھلایا پلایا اور نہ ہی اسے چھوڑا کہ وہ خود ہی زمین کے کیڑے مکوڑے کھا لیتی۔
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek aurat jahannam mein sirf ek billi ki wajah se dakhil ho gayi jise usne bandh diya tha khud use khilaya pilaya aur na hi use chhoda ke wo khud hi zameen ke keeray makoday kha leti.
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دَخَلَتْ النَّارَ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ هِرَّةٍ لَهَا رَبَطَتْهَا، فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا، وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا، تُرَمِّمُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ هَزْلًا" .
