The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8204

And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that the order to say SubhanAllah when the Imam makes a mistake is for the male followers, and the order to clap is for the women.


Grade: Sahih

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا امام بھول جانے پر سبحان اللہ کہنے کا حکم مرد مقتدیوں کے لئے ہے اور تالی بجانے کا حکم عورتوں کے لئے ہے۔

aur nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya imam bhul jane par subhan allah kahne ka hukm mard muqtadion ke liye hai aur tali bajane ka hukm aurton ke liye hai.

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " التَّسْبِيحُ لِلْقَوْمِ، وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ" .
