Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8342
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to visit the house of an Ansari man. Behind their house lived another family. This matter weighed heavily on them, and they said, "O Messenger of Allah! You visit so-and-so's house but not ours?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The reason is that there is a dog in your house." They said, "But there is also a cat in their house!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "The cat is not like that (it does not prevent the angels of mercy from entering)."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ایک انصاری کے گھر تشریف لے جاتے تھے ان کے پیچھے بھی ایک گھر تھا ان لوگوں پر یہ بات گراں گذری اور وہ کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! آپ فلاں کے گھر تو تشریف لاتے ہیں ہمارے گھر تشریف نہیں لاتے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ تمہارے گھر میں کتا ہے وہ کہنے لگے کہ ان لوگوں کے گھر میں بھی تو بلی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بلی (ایسا) درندہ ہے (جو رحمت کے فرشتوں کو آنے سے نہیں روکتا)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ek ansari ke ghar tashreef le jate thay un ke peeche bhi ek ghar tha un logon per yeh baat giran guzri aur wo kehne lage Ya Rasul Allah aap falan ke ghar to tashreef late hain humare ghar tashreef nahi late Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya is ki wajah yeh hai keh tumhare ghar mein kutta hai wo kehne lage keh un logon ke ghar mein bhi to billi hai Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya billi aisa darinda hai jo rehmat ke farishton ko aane se nahi rokta
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى يَعْنِي بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي دَارَ قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَدُونَهُمْ دَارٌ، فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، تَأْتِي دَارَ فُلَانٍ وَلَا تَأْتِي دَارَنَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لِأَنَّ فِي دَارِكُمْ كَلْبًا"، قَالُوا: فَإِنَّ فِي دَارِهِمْ سِنَّوْرًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ السِّنَّوْرَ سَبُعٌ" .
